Pentecostals of Cooper City
The Pentecostals of Cooper City is a local church in Cooper City, Florida. The church was formed in the 1950s through revival meetings and tent programs and was first organized by Bro. Welch and W. E. Gamblin. It was the leadership of Bro. & Sis. Wayne Rooks that has guided the church for 45 years.
In 1997, Wayne Rooks died and the pastoral duties were passed on to Bro. & Sis. Mark Hattabaugh who still head the Pentecostals until now. Pastor Hattabaugh came from a missionary family that was based in Argentina. He got his ministerial training from Jackson College of Ministries, Butler University of Indianapolis, and Christian Life College. He was also able to do Christian work in 45 countries and was the senior associate pastor of Revival Tabernacle of San Diego in California before coming to the Pentecostals of Cooper City.
Pastor Hattabaugh and his wife Esther got married in 1989 in San Diego and now has a 16-year-old son named Mark II.
