Programs of Christ the Rock Community Church
Christ the Rock Community Church in Cooper City has various programs that cater to the specific needs of its attendees and members of the local community.
The church currently has a care group for wives of military men. It is facilitated by Pastor Johnie Butler of the Care Teams Ministry. The group aims to minister to minister to women whose husbands are on active military duty. It provides a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere where women can talk about their anxieties, fears, struggles, and other issues that they are dealing with as military wives. It also serves as a support group where wives can find other women who share similar experiences.
For people who are struggling with various addictive and compulsive disorders, Christ the Rock Church has organized the By Word of Mouth 12-Step Recovery Program. The group meets on Thursday evenings at the Explorer Room of Christ the Rock Community Church.
