Animal Medical Center in Cooper City
The Animal Medical Center in Cooper City has recently opened its newly expanded facilities. The animal hospital has a new surgery area which is equipped with a patient prep area with two water tables and complete anesthesia monitoring capabilities. There is also an instrument pack prep room that allows for steam and gas sterilization of all equipment. The hospital is bathed in subdued lighting for a more restful environment but enough light is also provided for accurate observation of patients.
The Animal Medical Center also has a new surgeons’ scrub area located just outside the sterile hall and has easy access to the hospital’s four operating rooms. Each operating room is furnished with a heated table, complete patient monitoring equipment, and piped-in Oxygen and Nitrogen. It is also equipped with equipment for tibial plateau leveling operations, total hip replacement, and all abdominal and thoracic procedures.
The Animal Medical Center of Cooper City also has an Intensive Care Unit for pets who require intensive monitoring. The ICUs have 27 cages and two Oxygen cages with temperature controlled environments. The IV fluids are delivered in electronic pumps.
