Cooper City Utilities

The Cooper City Utility Department provides the water and sewer utilities in Cooper City. The department maintains the water and wastewater treatment plants and also supervises the water distribution system and wastewater collection system of the city.

 

The Cooper City water and sewer utilities are charged with appropriate fees. Customers who are opening a new water and sewer account are required to pay a one-time account initiation fee of $25 at the time of connection. They should also notify the Utility Billing at least 24 hours in advance.

 

As of November 1, 2006, residential water usage costs $2.24 per one thousand gallons each month with a base charge of $8.67. Residential sewer rates consist of a base charge of $18.75 and $2.14 per one thousand gallons used each month.

 

Billing and payments for Cooper City utilities may be processed at the Finance Department during office hours, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Customers also have the option of paying their bills online through the local government site www.utilities.coopercityfl.org.
